Cum petrece Vlad de Halloween

E superb afara, cu toti copacii “yellow”, asa cum ii numeste Vlad, caci “galben” se pare ca ii suna acum “prea vechi”. Aseara am mers sa isi cumpere primul costum de Halloween, iar acum ne pregatitm sa plecam de acasa, catre primul spectacol de teatru din viata lui.

 

EN: It’s beautiful outside, with all the “yellow” trees, as Vlad calls them, because the Romanian word sounds “too old” to him. Last evening we went shopping for his first Halloween costume, and we are now getting ready to leave the house, to go to his first theatre show. 

Asa cum va spuneam la inceput, azi vom merge impreuna cu Vlad la primul lui spectacol de teatru. Am emotii. El nu, fireste. Mai ales ca habar nu are ce presupune asta. Dar eu am emotii din doua motive: 1. Nu stiu daca va avea rabdare si daca va sta pana la finalul spectacolului sau daca ii va placea experienta. iar 2. Spectacolul la care vom merge este cel al Magicianului, adica al lui Marian Ralea, la Teatrul National pentru Copii. Va dati seama? Probabil ca eu voi sti jumatate din repertoriu!

Magi are spectacole pentru copii in fiecare duminica dimineata la TNB, adica exact in aceeasi zi in care acum 20 ani era Abracadabra la PRO TV. Azi am citit pe site-ul teatrului ca e spectacol cu tema “Halloween” si ca toti cei mici sunt asteptati in costumele lor de printese, fantome, batman sau hulk. Asa ca Vlad se va imbraca in ultimii doi. Cum asa?! Nu ne-am putut hotari ieri in magazin, drept urmare pe dedesubt va purta un costum batman (format dintr-un body si o pereche de pantaloni cu semnele batman), iar deasupra “costumu vede”, adica verde, al lui Hulk.

I-am tot spus lui Marian ca vreau sa vin cu Vlad la Abracadabra de azi, adica la spectacolele pe care le desfasoara acolo. Am mai asteptat sa creasca putin, sa inteleaga cat de cat ce se intampla pe scena. In plus, din ce stiu eu, spectacolele lui sunt foarte interactiva, asa ca ma astept ca Vlad sa alerge tot timpul de la un capat la altul al salii de spectacol. Vom vedea… Sa ne tineti pumnii!

EN: Like I said in the beginning, today we are taking Vlad to his first theatre show ever. I’m nervous. He’s not, obviously. Especially since he has no idea what that means. But I am nervous for two reasons: 1. I don’t know if he will be patient enough to sit through the entire show or if he will lile the experience. And 2. The show we are going to is with the Magician, Marian Ralea, at the National Theatre for Children. Can you imagine? I will probably know half the repertoire!  

Magi has shows for children every Sunday morning, so on the exact same day as 20 years ago when Abracadabra was on PRO TV. Today I read on the theatre website that it’s a “Halloween” themed show and that the little ones are expected in their princesses, ghosts, batman or hulk costumes. So Vlad will dress as the second two. How come?! We couldn’t decide in the store yesterday, so underneath he’ll be wearing a batman costume  (made from a body and a pair of pants with batman prints), and over those “the geen costume” , so green, like Hulk’s.

I kept telling Marian that I want to bring Vlad to the Abracadabra from today, so to the shows he has there. I have waited for him to grow a little, so that he understands what’s going on on the stage. Plus, from what I know, his shows are very interactive, so I expect Vlad to run the hole time from one end of the room to the other. We’ll see… Keep your fingers crossed for us!
