Premiera!

Copilul a plecat luni in tabara si se intoarce maine seara. Credeam ca o sa apuc sa fac mai multe in timpul asta, dar recunosc ca am avut o usoara stare de anxietate, care mi-a taiat semnificativ din avant. Dar acum chiar trebuie sa ma adun, caci maine am premiera oficiala “Leonce si Lena” la Unteatru, de la ora 20:00.

 

EN: The child left for camp on Monday and he’ll be back tomorrow evening. I thought I would get around to doing so much during his absence, but I must admit that I felt a slight anxiety, which took away a significant part of my drive. But I really must get it together now, because tomorrow I have the official premiere of “Leonce and Lena” at Unteatru, from 8 pm.

Proiect al toamnei, acasa

S-a racorit bine de tot afara, asa ca a trebuit sa accept pe deplin ca e toamna! Nu ca frunzele rosii si galbene nu ar fi fost un indicator suficient de bun, doar ca cele 20+ grade Celsius din saptamanile trecute imi permiteau sa mai tin inca paltoanele in saci. Nu-i bai. E sezonul perfect pentru a sta langa fereastra cu o patura deasupra, cu o bautura calda si o ciocolata neagra alaturi, in timp ce afara ploua sau bate vantul puternic.

 

EN: It’s really chilly outside, so I had to fully accept that autumn is here! Not that the red and yellow leaves weren’t a good enough hint, but the 20+ Celsius degrees from the past couple of weeks allowed me to still keep my winter coats in the back of my closet. That’s ok. Cererea in casatorie

Acum cateva zile, am fost martora unei cereri in casatorie inedite, prin telefon… Si uite asa mi-am adus aminte in detaliu momentul in care Radu a pus celebra intrebare: “Vrei sa fii sotia mea?”.

Acum cateva seri, am fost invitata de catre AList la Cina Zodiilor. Urmarisem pe Instagram cum sarbatorisera alte zodii si recunosc ca asteptam randul Balantelor cu interes. Pe scurt, Neti Sandu ne-a linistit spunandu-ne ca “intra Jupiter in Sagetator”! “Ce inseamna asta, Neti? Fie-ti mila de mine, ii zic, si spune-mi te rog.” Intotdeauna cand vorbesc cu cunoscatorii sau pasionatii de subiect, am senzatia ca toti vorbesc intre ei o Pasareasca, pe care oricat de atent as asculta-o, tot nu as pricepe-o. Ce e aia casa a 7-a? Ce e aia Venus retrograd?

 

EN: A few evenings ago, I was invited by AList to the Dinner of the Signs. I had already seen how other signs have celebrated and I admit that I was anxiously awaiting for the Libras’ turn. Fact is, Neti Sandu put our minds to ease by saying that “Jupiter enters Sagittarius”! “What does that mean, Neti? Please have mercy on me and explain, please.” Every time I talk to connoisseurs or people who are passionate about the subject, I get the feeling that they all talk amongst each other in a foreign language, which, no matter how hard I try, I can’t decipher. What is the 7th house? What is Venus in retrograde?

In perioada 19 – 28 oct, Micul Paris devine Micul Cannes, pentru ca se desfasoara festivalul Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest. Gata, intru la cura! Cura de filme bune.

In caz de nevoie

Se intampla ca fix in noaptea de Revelion sa fim pe plaja Otres din Cambodgia (un fel de Vama Veche a lor), iar Radu sa inceapa sa dardaie intr-un hamac, cu febra 39,8. Cand ne-a aratat termometrul s-a facut brusc gol in jurul nostru, caci toti ceilalti turisti au fugit, gandindu-se la cine stie ce boala exotica contagioasa.  Am oprit un tuc-tuc si i-am cerut sa ne duca urgent la cel mai apropiat spital, cel din Sihanoukville. Un drum de 15 minute a durat aproximativ o ora, caci tuc-tucul isi facea cu greu loc prin multimea de oameni venita sa vada artificiile. Ne-am dat seama ca trecerea dintre ani s-a produs in timp ce noi eram in drum spre spital, asa ca ne-am urat un “hai la multi ani” fara prea mare entuziasm. Eram foarte ingrijorati.

 

EN: On New Year’s Eve we were at Otres beach in Cambodia (some kind of Vama Veche of their own), when Radu started shaking in a hammock, with a fever of 39,8. When he showed us the thermometer, all of the sudden it was empty all around us, because all the other tourists ran away, afraid of some mysterious exotic disease. We stopped a tuk-tuk and asked him to take us the nearest hospital, which was the one in Sihanoukville. A 15 minutes drive took approximately one hour, because the tuk-tuk could hardly pass through the crowd gathered to see the fireworks. We realized that we went from one year to the next while on our way to the hospital, so we wished each other, without any enthusiasm, a “Happy New Year”. We were very worried.
